Your safety is always our primary concern. In light of recent concerns caused by the COVID-19 Epidemic, Big Guns Tattoo will be enacting the following safety precautions:

-Coming into the shop for any reason (getting a tattoo, a piercing, a jewelry change) will require an appointment. 

 

-All tattoo consultations will be done via email/messenger or video chat. Piercing appointments can be booked online (we will post a link in the comments, or you can find it on her page).

 

-If you are feeling unwell, please do not come in. We can reschedule your appointment. If you appear to be ill, you will be asked to leave. 

 

-Wearing a mask is required when coming into the shop. This ensures the safety of us, other clients, and yourself. If you do not have one, you can purchase one from us for $2. 

 

-Once you enter the shop, you will be asked to use hand sanitizer or a hand washing station. We will also be taking your temperature (using a non-contact thermometer) and recording that. We are also monitoring and recording our own temperatures throughout the day.

 

-All of our consent forms are online now, you will scan a QR code with your phone and fill it out right there. There will be an added section with screening questions regarding COVID-19.

 

-Unless you are a minor wanting a piercing and need a parent to sign for you, we are not allowing any guests in the studio with you. If you bring a friend, they will be asked to leave. Also with that we are not allowing anyone under the age of 16 to get pierced at this time.

 

-At this time we are not accepting any new piercings or jewelry changes that require you to take off your mask. This means no nostrils, septums, or oral piercings. (This does not apply to clients who were pierced before shut down and need downsizing to ensure the continued healing of their piercing.) We’re hoping this doesn’t last long, but it is the safest option for everyone at this time.

 

-If you have been out to a bar or any other space with large crowds of people not taking proper precautions within two weeks of your appointment, you will no longer be eligible to get a tattoo or piercing.

 

-Please do not show up early for your appointment. We have everyone coming in at specific times to allow us time in between each client to disinfect. If you show up early, you will be asked to wait outside.
